Pure Himalayan Shilajit comes in three different forms: a powder, a liquid, and a solid. Like wheatgrass, you just need a little bit every day, and you take Shilajit in cycles–2 to 4 weeks on, 2 to 4 weeks off. Included in the package are small measuring spoons to help you find the perfect amount, which is not a lot!

The different ways to take Shilajit are quite similar and easy to remember. With the liquid Shilajit, just mix it into your favorite drink (I love mixing it with orange juice in the morning). With solid Shilajit, you can take it orally like a pill, or dissolve it in water and make a liquid. Powdered Shilajit is particularly strong, so you should mix it with a liquid first before taking it.

There are some things to be aware of when taking Shilajit, such as what medications you are taking, if you are pregnant, and how your body responds to the substance. What is great about this product is that they send you a comprehensive description and explanation of what Shilajit is, how to use it, and its medicinal properties effects.

For me, I started taking Shilajit in small doses, not every day. With any kind of new health routine, I find that it’s always good to have a trial period with plenty of research and information so you know exactly what to do, and you know how to listen to your body.
