halloween makeup.

Do you remember how in freshman year of high school all the girls dressed up as black cats by drawing whiskers on their faces with eyeliner?

I’ve stepped up my game since then.

Vampire Makeup

In my angsty teenage years, one of my halloween costumes was a “goth vampire,” meaning a lot of black, a wig, ripped clothes, and a light of “blood” dripping down from my mouth. My best friend didn’t even recognize me until she saw my braces!

This time around I tried to amp up the chic with a Smokey eye, bright red lipstick, and my throwback emo hair.

Hufflepuff Makeup

Hufflepuffs are incredibly good finders! When I first took the sorting hat quiz on Pottermore I got sorted into Ravenclaw, but I’ve bounced back and forth from Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff, before deciding that personality-wise, I’m definitely a Puff.

With this look I went for a cute, autumnal, hipster-puff look. I almost went towards bright yellows, but instead I chose lots of golds and hints of brown. It’s just a little more than my every day look, and suitable for any fun-loving Potterhead.

Black Cat Makeup

Cat? I’m a Kitty-Kat! And I dance dance dance, and I dance dance dance. (If you don’t know what I’m taking about, take a look at this video)

I couldn’t quite resist doing a cat-themed makeup. Too bad I forgot to use a cat-eye style for my eyeliner! I went for a fun, dark nude lipstick and a dark-but-trendy vibe here. And, of course, the little cat nose and whiskers!

How are you going to do your makeup for Halloween this year?
